I’m particularly conscious of what people see me doing on my laptop when they look over my shoulder, so I always have Pages out with abitrary paragraphs of arbitrary things just to make me look busier than I actually am. You know, to give off the illusion that I’m actually doing substantial and important things when I’m on my laptop. I often get caught unprepared though. Just recently I was preoccupying myself perusing a tumblr page that involved exceptionally colorful, overbearingly girly and vapid posts, and then someone walked by and I instinctively tried to do something that changed what was on the screen, so in panic, I did the 4-finger thing on the trackpad, completely forgetting the fact that doing that movement would take me to my desktop. Which is at the moment a tiled picture of happy, smiling, llamas.
So yeah, objective totally fulfilled.
